When it comes to shipping, the safe and reliable delivery of your handmade furniture is very important to us. That's why we work with a professional shipping company that specializes in the transport of high-quality furniture. Here are the details of the shipping process:

1. Careful packaging: After your furniture is completed, our team will carefully package it to ensure it is well protected during transport. We use high-quality packaging materials that are specifically designed for the safe transport of furniture.

2. Flexible appointment scheduling: Our shipping company will contact you to agree on the exact delivery date. You have the option of arranging a date that suits you so that the delivery runs smoothly.

3. Delivery and assembly service: The shipping company brings your furniture directly to the desired rooms and assembles it. If you are interested, just contact us.

4. Safety and reliability: We only work with shipping companies that have many years of experience in transporting furniture. This ensures that your furniture will arrive safely and undamaged.

We always provide you with transparent information about the shipping costs before you complete your order. Before you pay, you will receive precise information about the available delivery options and their prices. Shipping costs vary depending on the weight of your order and your place of residence and are borne by the customer.

return of goods

If you wish to return an item, it must be returned as new and in its original packaging, so please decide before discarding the packaging.

We have a request for you

Before delivery, please ensure that the access route is clear and accessible and that your furniture will fit through doorways, stairwells and other narrow spaces. Make sure that there is unobstructed passage to the installation site. The exact dimensions of the furniture can be found here on the website. For safety reasons, the driver is not allowed to take off shoes during delivery. It is therefore advisable to cover sensitive floors beforehand.

Please check immediately upon receipt to ensure that you have received the correct products and that there is no visible damage to the packaging or products. If everything is OK, simply sign for delivery. If the packaging is damaged, sign for receipt, subject to any damage. If a product is damaged or defective after unpacking, please contact our customer service within five days of delivery so that we can quickly find a solution for you. Thank you for your help!

picking up your furniture

1. Pick-up point: You can pick up your new furniture yourself at any time from one of the nearest Isle of Dogs Design pick-up points. When ordering, please indicate which pick-up point you would like to select for collection.

2. Preparing for pickup: Remember to check the dimensions of your new furniture before pickup to make sure it will fit in your vehicle so you don't end up on the road for nothing. Also check that the furniture will fit through doorways, stairwells, and other tight spaces. You can find the exact dimensions here on the website.

3. Collection: Please bring your order confirmation and a valid ID. If you are not collecting the goods yourself, the authorized person must present a power of attorney, their own ID and the order confirmation. Please arrive no later than 15 minutes before closing time. Please note that we are unfortunately unable to help you with lifting and loading. Therefore, we recommend that you bring a friend or two with you to collect larger pieces of furniture.

4. Checking the goods: Please check immediately upon receipt whether you have received the correct products and whether there is any visible damage to the packaging or the products. If everything is OK, simply acknowledge collection. If the packaging is damaged, acknowledge receipt subject to any damage. If a product is damaged or defective after unpacking, please contact our customer service within five days of collection so that we can quickly find a solution for you.

return of goods

If you wish to return an item, it must be returned as new and in its original packaging, so please decide before discarding the packaging.

Shipping of textiles & accessories

Smaller items such as textiles, measuring sticks, fitted sheets and bed linen are delivered within 3 - 5 working days with GLS to the address you provide.

If you order both furniture and smaller items, the smaller items will also be delivered within 3 - 5 working days. In this case, you only pay the shipping costs for the furniture, while the shipping costs for the smaller items are waived. Your furniture will be delivered at a later date when it is ready.

To return smaller items, please use GLS return shipping. You have 30 days from the delivery date to decide.
